Boerse Stuttgart Digital and tradias have completed their merger following successful completion of the change-of-control approval process. The merger creates a fully regulated one-stop shop for cryptocurrencies and digital assets, covering the entire value chain from trading, custody and staking to tokenization.
Both leaders in their respective fields, the two European infrastructure providers are joining forces under the umbrella of Boerse Stuttgart Group, creating a single business with around 300 employees and headquarters in Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital and tradias have completed their merger following successful completion of the ownership control procedure.
A regulated platform for trading, custody, staking and tokenization is being created under the umbrella of Boerse Stuttgart Group.
The new business unit will continue to operate under the Boerse Stuttgart Digital name, while tradias will remain the brand for trading activities.
The new entity brings together around 300 employees and will be led by a joint management team.
By combining its infrastructure, custody and trading expertise, Boerse Stuttgart Digital is strengthening its offering for financial institutions across Europe.
While Boerse Stuttgart Digital operates the largest cryptocurrency and digital asset business of any European exchange group, tradias is one of Europe’s leading trading firms for these financial products.
The two companies are combining their complementary offerings for European financial institutions to provide existing and prospective clients with secure and fully regulated access to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

The new business unit will continue to operate as Boerse Stuttgart Digital under the umbrella of Boerse Stuttgart Group. tradias, in turn, will remain the brand for trading activities. The business unit will be led by a joint management team:
Christopher Beck of tradias and Dr. Ulli Spankowski of Boerse Stuttgart Digital will serve as Co-CEOs
Roman Schmidt of tradias will become Chief Commercial Officer
Jan Munz will continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer, and Dennis Winter will continue as Chief Technology Officer, both retaining the positions they previously held at Boerse Stuttgart Digital
Michael Reinhard of tradias will join the Group Executive Committee of Boerse Stuttgart Group as Chief Digital Assets Officer, alongside Dr. Ulli Spankowski
